Introduction

Totality Begins is a dynamic collection of art featuring work by Shakkablood, Raccoonnook, Orphan, and Liquid Density.

The work utilizes the Transient Labs Doppelganger Contract, a unique smart contract which allows you, the collector, to change your token’s URI to point to any of the variations of artwork via the contract.

The mint itself is only open for 16 more hours at the time of this article. Each token can be minted for 0.0420 ETH via the mint site

Unique Smart Contract

With the Doppelganger contract we can define how many works are expressed in a token and continuously add artwork to your tokens until the end of time. 1 dynamic piece, 1 static (normal), and 1 static (night) versions per artist. That's 12 works of art in 1 token.

Note: the Doppelganger smart contract also allows us, the creators, to continuously add art to your token until the end of time. Based AF.

Dynamic Art

Oh, I'm sorry, did we forget to mention that this work is dynamic as well?

Yeah that's right, each of these works of art is programmatically set via a mathematical equation to transition to a second work of art during EVERY FULL MOON PHASE. That means, so long as you set your token URI to display 1 of 4 dynamic works, it will automatically transition to that work every month during that Lunar Phase.

Furthermore, due to this dynamic work being defined by a formula and not an API, it will never break! The formula is accurate to 100,000+ years.

Utility

For those wondering about any additional utility, well how about the bangin art, bud!?

We do have a few tricks up our sleeves however. For those of you that have 3+ tokens in your wallets at the time of a future snapshot, we will be awarding a physical print of your choosing.
